I started a company approximately a year ago, believing that my current skill stack and emotional maturity would allow me to have abnormal success in a relatively short amount of time. I'm being coquettish about the specific venture because I believe my failings can transpire in any endeavor... and because I'm going to record a video where I lay everything out in its entirety. This is a small plate. The entree is coming.
#2. I didn't listen to what my actual prospects, my prospective clients, or what the market was telling me. I wanted to serve caviar. My prospects (buying customers in the market) want tacos. Give the people what they want. Be aware that your audience and your actual customers can be two different sets of people.
