Far too many of us are allowing stage hands to occupy center stage in our lives. Caring too much about the opinions, thoughts, and whims of people, allowing others to define our narratives.

How do you know if the aforementioned is a challenge for you? Ask yourself, what does your best life look like? Five to ten years from now how will you be spending your time, and how will your gifts find expression? What type of conversations will you be having, and who are the people (you may not know them yet) you will be spending the most time with? What stages, living and dining rooms, porches, and backyards will serve as the backdrop for your best memories?

See the clothes you're wearing. Smell the lotion on your skin. Taste the water you're sipping. Envision it all. And ask yourself, are the naysayers or the people causing dissonance in your life part of your vision? If not........
