Accept that your success has a correlative relationship with the pains and disappointments you're willing to ignore and overcome. In this period of "fake news". entertainment broadcasters, and all manner of distractions. So many of us have lost perspective...no judgment here. It's easier to lose perspective nowadays, and have blunted perception. Here's the thing, reality is not perception. Reality is Reality. When you lose sight of this. You lose purpose. You lose relevance. You become rudderless. Leaderless.

Subjected to the whims of the wind. You're no longer able to answer the questions and challenges of the time. Lacking even the ability to understand who is your tribe, what are the real threats, and what is worth dying for. And the moment a household, a community, and a nation devolve to this level. Well, typically history nor universal law isn't too kind. Reality is Reality.
