The Detroit Chapter of the NAACP has allegedly been suspended. If this is true, it's truly a sad day for Detroit, and a number of questions need to be asked. Why did the suspension happen? It would be nice if the Detroit Chapter provided some explanation or accounting of itself.
How is the org's leadership going to change and adapt to meet the challenges to its saliency, viability, and relevance in the future.
Seriously, something is worng when the last major initiative most can recall the organization being involved with is the death of the "N" word. Something is more than wrong.
