There will be no real healthcare reform, until the pain is too great. Too few have really felt the bite of having to acquire major medical coverage independently, as opposed to employer sponsored coverage. Too few have experienced what is like to be ill, and not be able to receive treatment. People have no idea how much major medical coverage costs. And typically don't care about such issues until it shows up and burps at their kitchen table. But it's coming. The pain is coming.

Hate to recant old news. However, Howard Dean went hard on Maddow's show last night. Dean consistently represents. He's 100% right. The Democrats need a spine transplant. This country is in real trouble. Social Security, Medicare. Failing schools. Economic decline - we import way, way , way more than we export. It's not a game.
